The Bow Valley Ranche is located at the end of Bow Bottom Trail SE, in Fish Creek Provincial Park, just follow the signs for Bow Valley Ranche.The Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant is the new fine dining facility located in the restored Ranche House. Their menu features a contemporary interpretation of Alberta regional cuisine. Today, the flavours and traditions of Alberta’s ranching heritage live on at the Bow Valley Ranche. Our Grand Salon holds approximately 110-120 guests. William Roper Hull and Senator Patrick Burns hold approximately 30-32 guests. Our John Glenn room, located in the upstairs, old master bedroom of the house, holds approximately 12 guests. Our décor is warm and modern. The tradition has always been dark wood, leathers and a muted palette for a steakhouse. We broke the mould and decided to add hand-selected music that reflects us! We’re more like Jay Z and less like Sinatra. We serve ranch specific Alberta Beef. That means we don’t just serve beef from anywhere on the planet. We know our farmers and ranchers personally and respect the hard work they put in to produce our beef. We are one of just a handful of steakhouses in Canada that serves, Grass-fed, Grain-fed, Wet-aged, Dry-aged and Wagyu beef 365 days a year. Our beef is always fresh never frozen.We use a 1800 degree Infrared Grill to cook your steaks. The high heat creates a flavourful crust on the outside of the steak and leaves a juicy centre.

    This was our first time at Foxtrot. We were dining here for our anniversary after hearing great reviews. The service was top notch from the moment we arrived. We were seated quickly and given a great table looking out to the lighted horse display. The server did a great job of recommending beverages and meals and he was spot on. It was likely the best NY steak we’ve had at a restaurant and the “tater tots” (which my wife originally wanted to swap out for fries) were incredible. Over all it was a great night and we will be back frequently.

    Three of us met here mid-week for lunch and conversation. It was a great choice as usual. We shared three selections: moules et frites, beet-root salad, and burrata cheese plate. It was an excellent sharing combination. We shared the Fruit Pavlova and the Lavender Lime Posset for dessert. Dishes were all tasty, flavorful, interesting, and attractive. Service was friendly and attentive. There were not too many other guests. Tables are well-spaced and conversation is easy. Beautiful historic venue both inside and outside. Very memorable introduction for our guest who had not dined here before. BVR is one of our favorite Calgary dining venues.

    What a perfect experience at Chairman’s for my fiancé’s birthday. Brian (I think that was his name) gave excellent and attentive service. Food was delicious, the steak was cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth.
