    We had a fabulous birthday celebration with great friends. Our waiter, Robert, made the experience more elevated by bringing complimentary Prosecco to the table along with complimentary brussels sprouts. They were delicious and the gesture was unexpected. He checked in on us regularly to make sure we were having a great time! The food was terrific--authentic Italian. Note for birthday celebrations, the restaurant offers a choice of amazing desserts for a complimentary sweet treat. No cupcake or whipped cream with a candle for this restaurant! Very high class. The only difficulty is the lack of parking.

    Our group of four women had an outstanding experience at Nick‘s. Bria was our server and she was so friendly and attentive, and everything we ordered was exceptional (bistro plates and chicken piccata… YUM!). We cleaned our plates and drank every drop of our cocktails! 😄 We were also served some delicious chocolate desserts for our retirement celebration. Things couldn’t have been better, honestly. Thank you so much for making our dining event so festive and fun!

    Nobu is our favorite restaurant in Newport Beach. We are so spoiled with great restaurants but Nobu is consistently the best. Try the Dover with lemon caper sauce topped off with crispy spinach. It’s pricey but worth every bite. The yellowtail collar is so tender and delicious. Collars are a bit messy but the best part of the fish in my opinion. Another favorite is the lobster and shrimp spicy lemon salad( it’s not spicy), just amazing. I like the yellowtail appetizer as well. If you have room for dessert, their date cake is worthy and unique. We have tried almost the entire menu and have enjoyed all items. The more traditional rolls and sashimi are not as unique as other menu items on the menu but always tasty when you crave traditional food items. We prefer sitting upstairs( quieter) on the balcony watching the boats cruise by under the heat lamps if needed. Newport’s restaurant has a great location!
