The Chequers Inn is a 14th century building with as much charm as it has history. Owned by Jonathan & Joanne Tindall since 2002, this cosy inn is also a hotel, serving as a brilliant base for exploring the Peak District, whether it be a visit to Chatsworth House or a walk along Froggatt Edge. Boasting an AA Rosette, the food at The Chequers ranges from the classic fish and chips and burgers to the seasonally-changing dishes such as lamb rump, seabass and vegetable pithivier.
