- RRichPhiladelphia County •19 reviews4.0Dined on Oct 3, 2026We ordered the buffalo chicken dip for an appetizer and a Smokin Joe Burger for dinner. Both were very good. The burger was especially tasty and cooked to medium rare as we requested. We also ordered 2 alcoholic drinks. I tasted very little alcohol in mine. So, I give 5 stars for food. The service was a bit slow. Took a while for the appetizer to arrive. We ordered a second drink and we waited about 15 minutes before we asked the server to cancel since we had to leave for a show. The servers were very good. Other than a little bit of slow service, I would dine here again. Just make sure you allow enough time if you are catching a show.More infoChelsea Tavern$$$$• Gastro Pub• Wilmington•4

But the service and food were great. I ordered one of their mocktails, the one with the guava (or is it mango) with the ginger; this is excellent. It reminded me of a drink that I had at "Charlie Was a Sinner" in Philly (another great restaurant-mostly vegetarian). I had the nachos as an appetizer; they are shareable and very tasty. I ordered the falafel sandwich; it needed a bit more salt but was overall good. I wish there was more sauce; it was a little dry for my taste, and I am sure if I had asked for more sauce, they would have obliged. As my side, I ordered the sweet potato fries, and they were excellent. I had a 4 pm dinner reservation, so there wasn't a huge crowd, and it was also student move-in day on campus, so I didn't expect it to be too busy, but I'll give it two weeks, and I think that place will be packed. I highly recommend this place. Can't wait to try other things on the menu.More infoHome Grown Café$$$$• American• Newark•4.6
