- DDorisCincinnati / Dayton •24 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe ordered the prime rib and it was absolutely delicious. Crabcake was also good and our server recommended a great Pinot Noir to accompany our meal. Speaking of which, Baris was an excellent server and made the dinner even more memorable. - SShaneGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoVisiting New Orleans for the first time with my partner for his birthday. Made reservations at The Pelican Club and was not disappointed! From the moment we entered we were warmly greeted. We had reservations for patio seating and it was lovely. Our server was knowledgeable and quick. The food was absolutely delicious! I can’t go on enough about how fantastic everything we ordered was. We ordered two bottles of wine, red and white, which was recommended by staff and paired well with the food. We started with the bread and Caesar salad to share. The salad was crisp, fresh and dressing top notch! The bread is a must! Warm house made focaccia. My partner order the pork chop, the cleared the plate. The cut was thick and juicy. I ordered the short rib. It fell apart and melts in your mouth, paired with cheese grits, it was phenomenal. Over all experience was amazing and we left feeling very satisfied. The Pelican Club is defiantly a place we plan to dine at again on our next visit and will be recommending to any that travel to New Orleans.More infoThe Pelican Club$$$$• Creole / Cajun / Southern• French Quarter•4.7
