We've eaten here a couple of times and found the food and drink quality very good! The menu is fairly diverse, with comfort/pub food, but also some very good vegetarian options, which I appreciate. I had a delicious roasted veggie sandwich and my husband had a very hearty grain bowl. Our son said his grilled cheese was really good, as was the side of butternut squash soup. Service was friendly and efficient. Another standout: they offer some really good mocktails! I had one that included beet juice and ginger beer, and it was delicious (and pretty!)

Our meal was delicious. We both had pork ribeyes that were so juicy and tender. The accompanying dishes just added to the enjoyment of the meal. My husband had the bread pudding for dessert and I had apple cider crème brûlée and both were quite good. Our server, Linda, was very helpful and we enjoyed talking to her. The wait staff was courteous and made sure we were well taken care of. Totally enjoyed our dining experience at the Dorset Inn.

The food was outstanding. Well seasoned salmon, generous portion and cooked perfectly. Delicious roasted vegetables. The bread pudding is enough for two and delicious. Coffee with desert wasn’t hot but quickly replaced. The waiters Jake and Susan were friendly and attentive. Scott the manager made sure everyone had what they needed. All in all 5 stars.

Three of us dined at the Black Rock Steakhouse while staying in the area. Everything about the dinner was great. Our waitress was tremendous. The atmosphere was very comfortable (old fashioned steak joint comfort). The three of us were able to share one of the larger steaks (cooked perfectly) and had plenty to eat with the extras that came with it and by ordering an additional side. We had a bottle of wine that was a great price (significantly less than the same wine at a different restaurant nearby)
