Best Historic Restaurants in Lake Sarasota

Beautiful space in tastefully updated historic building. Food is good quality and well presented and our waiter was outstanding. We loved that the sound level was actually peaceful. Only concern was that our wedge salad contained ingredients not listed on the menu. One was bacon. Since many folks have food restrictions, we suggested they list everything on the menu. They were receptive and understanding. Would definitely return!

Never disappoints! We had a great dinner. We started with sangria and Columbia’s classic salad (a must have) and our entrees (palomilla stack, arroz con polllo, and rope vieja), then ended with the other classic - flan! Service was perfect.

Roessler's has the best food and menu choices in Sarasota. The ambiance is wonderful and service is fastidious. Love this place.

Grazie Mille to the Cas Antica Team! We had an 80th birthday celebration with a party of 7 on a weeknight and Roberto, Rosalinda and team were ready for us with all the bells and whistles! They gave us a private/cozy space as requested and were incredibly welcoming, warm and attentive which made the super delicious wine, apps, bread and entrees even better! To top the experience, The tiramisu cake we special-ordered was well worth it: proven by the rave reviews and cleaned plates around the table. A most wonderful evening which will add to the many great meals & memories we already have over the years while dining at Cas Antica! We will be back again whether casual or a special occasion… Molte Grazie!
