- JJames1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoOur first time there and our 2nd date. We were greeted by I believe her name was Emma. She was wonderful, engaging and full of smiles. Philip out waiter was outstanding. He was very knowledgeable of the menu, engaging and made us feel welcomed. We wanted for nothing as he appeard at the exact right time and gave us top tier service while giving us the privacy we wanted at the same time. We had a bottle wine that was very well presented. The Brussel sprouts to start I would highly recommend. The entrees were Lobster ravioli and Simply Seared Scallops. They do NOT skimp on real ingredients or texture and taste at all! Creme brulee for desert that was enough for 2 people that did not disappoint in any way. There was food left over to take home. Before we moved into the piano bar, as I walked outside to put it away I met one of the cooks who after telling him how good the meal was asked what we had and he mentioned he was the one who prepared our dinner. He too was very nice, full of smiles and glad we enjoyed the food. We will be back to have other items since we have only scratched the surface here. I would recommend The Colonels Club to anyone. It is very reasonably priced especially for the type of service, food and ambience.More infoThe Colonel's Club$$$$• Contemporary Southern• Baton Rouge•4.7
