We had a birthday dinner for my husband at Botanicus Kitchen + Bar, and it was also our first time dining at this restaurant. Our server, Sasha, was very attentive. She greeted my husband with a "Happy Birthday" and even brought us a complimentary appetizer to start. The food was great! The only dish that didn't quite meet our expectations was the cauliflower steak. We expected it to be served as a steak-like patty, but it was actually a few cauliflower florets arranged on a plate with some dressing. Regardless, Sasha made the evening extra special by bringing my husband a complimentary slice of chocolate cake with macaroons and a candle. She also shared that she had secretly checked with my daughters to find out what they would like to get for their dad as a birthday surprise. I thought that was such a thoughtful gesture and really appreciated the extra effort she put into these little details. Overall, we had a very enjoyable dinner and will definitely come back again!
