Best Sunday Lunch Restaurants in Harrisburg, Philadelphia County

I celebrated my birthday last night with two of my closest girlfriends. From start to finish, Andrew was professional, polite, gave great menu recommendations, and assisted with accommodating my vegan diet (if you’re vegan, you have to try the Roasted Cauliflower dish, and ADD fried tofu - YUM.) Myself and my friends have an extensive history in the restaurant industry and I will say this was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while. Props to Andrew, the chef, and the restaurant as a whole! We will definitely be returning.

Sophia’s is always a treat. The food is always fresh and delicious and the staff is excellent. Makenna was our server and she was super. To top off the evening, Ben Simcox entertained us with his beautiful music. It was a perfect evening.

Excellent crab cakes and Maryland crab soup plus a very extensive and nice menu.

Our reservation was for 6 PM. We were delayed due to heavy traffic and a detour on our way to the Bistro. I called the restaurant to let them know we were going to be a little bit late. The person friendly lady that answered the phone, was quick to reassure me that there would be no problem with our delay. When we arrived, about 15 minutes late, we were greeted and seated immediately. It was a pleasure being treated with such understanding. Each of the four of us ordered a different meal from the extensive menu options. Every meal was delicious. Unfortunately, we were all too full to enjoy dessert - next time I'll begin my meal with dessert, they all look delicious! Lovely restaurant, lovely food, lovely evening.
