Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Pico Rivera

Bavel never disappoints. All 5 of my guests I brought agreed it was their best meal of the year. The service is impeccable. The staff is all very knowledgeable as is the sommelier. The drinks were perfectly crafted with some unique twists. The food is amazing, simple dishes that are prepared to perfection, as well as some more complex dishes with unique spices to some. Great music as well. I cant recommend Bavel enough.

La Boucherie turned a tired evening into one of the highlights of our stay! We had just checked into the hotel and were too tired to go anywhere, so we decided to head upstairs for dinner. What an amazing surprise! The restaurant is beautiful, and the views are incredible. I could easily see myself coming back for a romantic dinner or a night out with a group. They also offer private tables, which we were told had a $500 minimum. Once you factor in steak and a bottle of wine, that feels much more approachable than it initially sounds! What really made the experience special was the service. Our server, Joaquin, and his assistant, Daniel H., were both wonderful. Joaquin shared that he has been with the restaurant since it opened nine years ago, and his knowledge and impeccable service really showed. They made us feel so well taken care of throughout the evening. We ordered the octopus, ribeye, and whipped potatoes, paired with a 2022 Ghost Block Cabernet Sauvignon. Everything was cooked to perfection. I honestly would not change a thing about our meal! If you love wine, ask about the wine cellar. We were told it holds more than 900 bottles! Whether you are staying at the hotel or live nearby, La Boucherie is absolutely worth a visit. Come for the views, stay for the food, and hopefully you will have the pleasure of being taken care of by Joaquin and Daniel H.!

Our experience was great. The food was amazing & delicious. Our server, Rick, was great and the manager, Frank, they both took care of well. Always making sure we had everything we needed and they were both helpful all night. Can't wait to go back.
