- KKennyGoldAustin •27 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agosat outside with a party of 7 for a birthday dinner. Service was fantastic. We ordered a variety of dishes and shared quite a bit so everyone got to try several things. Not a single complaint. Cany wait to go during a happy hour. - DDouglasDallas - Fort Worth •19 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 30, 2026One of our very favorite places to go for a date night! Even celebrating 44 years is special in this setting. Excellent food, prepared and presented well. Oscar was a great server with just the right attitude and balance of attentiveness vs privacy.More infoJuniper$$$$• Italian• East Austin•4.8
- SsosehLos Angeles •4 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 26, 2026It’s loud, it’s dark, but it’s AMAZING. Went here celebrating our 11th year anniversary while on the way to a Dave Chappelle show. We hit major traffic and were 45 minutes late, but when I called, they were so accommodating, which shows amazing service. The food is for sure a small portion and meant to be shared, which I love that way you get to try more menu items. If you are GF, this is the place to go since everything on the menu is GF, and they source all their ingredients from local farms. First, their drinks - AMAZING alcohol drinks. Their spicy tuna crude was amazing. That hint of coconut and the spice level were so perfectly balanced. Their mushroom quesadilla was more on the smoky side, and honestly, the salsa it came with didn’t elevate it, but we did dip it into our spicy tuna crude sauce, and that made it great. Their Ribeye taco was so tender, so flavorful, and rich, but watch out, the spicy sauce that comes with it is truly spicy. We also tried their fish tacos, and that was great. We did order their Tamal dessert Service was impeccable, and the food was great. I highly recommend this place. At the very end, they offered comp champagne and plantain-flavored ice which was DREAMY. We ordered Tamal dessert which is essentially their version of lava cake, however I’m not fan of Masa flavor so it wasn’t my favorite menu item. They also gave us a handwritten card, which was extra special. Thank you, Comedor, for the amazing service, food, and overall experience.More infoComedor$$$$• Mexican• Downtown•4.6
