A beautiful experience at The Ivy in Nottingham. Excellent personal service from the moment we walked in the door. Food was 5 star. My salmon was cooked to perfection and the accompanying vegetables were delicious. My husband would highly recommend the shepherd's pie. Even took notice that it was a birthday celebration and bought a lovely chocolate brownie with candle to the table. Would definitely recommend to everyone to try it at least once. You won't be disappointed.

We needed a table that we could book for 8, then 9 people on the day in Derby city centre for 6.15 pm! The venue very kindly did not insist on deposits even though we increased the numbers. We had friends coming on foot, by car, train and Uber. The whole experience was very comfortable for a chilly rainy evening in October, lovely service, cocktails and food! The special dish was Zebra which is both unique and unusual. That raised a lot of interest. Recommend the beef dripping chunky chips! Thank you very much, we had a lovely evening with our friends.

We made our reservation to celebrate our anniversary and we certainly weren’t disappointed…. From the moment we walked through the door we were made to feel very welcome and the staff we interacted with were so friendly and helpful 😊 we arrived slightly early for our 1.15 reservation but that was not a problem at all and we were seated immediately. We chose to have the set luncheon menu and were blown away by not only the three courses but also the little extra touches, the entrees, bread, amuse bouche and petit fours - we felt completely spoiled thank you
