Best Romantic Restaurants in Southern Shores

Last year we had an exceptional experience so we were looking forward to going back. The Village Table and Tavern did not disappoint. We ordered the chicken, the pork chop, the shrimp and grits, the fish and chips, and the meatloaf. Everyone commented on how perfect their dish was. Service was excellent as well. We can’t wait to visit again!

This was one of the best culinary experiences of my lifetime, and I've had some extraordinary experiences. Vivian Howard is truly an exceptional chef, and I feel blessed to have this one in the books. Fantastic food is an understatement. The tomato pie was excellent, the romaine salad was gorgeous and scrumptious, the shrimp and grits were awesome, and a different spin on this dish was a delight. My husband had the fish toast, which he loved, and we finished with the lemon pie. It was a lot of food, but we deserved it, and the food was worth the calories by far. I enjoyed the furnishings, the water view, and the fantastic service, and I bought a cookbook signed by Vivian Howard. This dining experience culminated in one of the best days I have had in a long time. Duck, NC is one of my favorite spots. This restaurant, which is not a great name for this place, as it is not just a restaurant...it is a gem.

Wonderful dinning atmosphere, food was outstanding and best in the Outer banks. Great place for couples and families. I highly recommend Ocean Blvd Bistro and Martini Bar!
