What a wonderful special place my husband found a few years ago. Sadly he passed and I had the pleasure of taking my dearest friend. Did not disappoint, food absolutely delicious, clean and flavoursome. Staff are wonderful and the environment relaxed. Would highly recommend. Will definitely return. Thank you Diane

What a fabulous dining experience this is. As a local I just don’t know why it has taken me so long to visit. It was a superb dining experience, made all the better by the interesting decor which was industrial chic tempered with woodland flowers. We were 3 diners all three had 3 courses. We had buratta and heritage tomatoes for starters, it was honestly the best version of this simple starter I have ever had. The flavoursome basil just just popped the tomatoes and nice to have it perfectly seasoned. 2 of us had the crab linguine and the other had the salmon. Again, seasoned to perfection and the linguine was bursting with crab flavour in the reduction with white meat sprinkled on the top giving a delicious sweetness. The salmon was meaty and Menai mussels juicy and sweet. As the portions were not over facing we were able to have a dessert which I haven’t managed to for ages. We had the baked Alaska and strawberry and basil panna cotta. Just again beautifully constructed puds, with impeccable flavours. We’ll be back as soon as possible! Service was efficient and helpful. As we were all driving we were unable to pair our meal with the wines, but the list looked good. Again seeing local food, beers and wines is always a joy.

We opted for the shared fish platter. Freshest and best calamari we have had for many years. Absolutely just melted in the mouth. Only downside was that we should not have ordered the bread starter it meant we were too full for a pudding. Highly recommended.
