Everything we tried was excellent, and the service was outstanding. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Quito!

I'm from New York City, surrounded by incredible restaurants — and the chef's tasting at Casa Gangotena still took our breath away. The seafood was the freshest I've had in a long time, and the duck was cooked perfectly — the kind of dish that stops the table conversation. Our waiter Mateo matched that level completely: knowledgeable, warm, and clearly proud of the food he was serving. Service like his is rare, and Casa Gangotena is lucky to have him.
