We had the best meal. Staff were warm and welcoming, the food was out of this world, lovely atmosphere and ambiance. I would highly recommend Cartel for a treat meal. They absolutely nailed it in every aspect for me. We will definitely go back again. P.S if you like steak like we do, this place beat all of them, absolutely perfect. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

We visited The Ivy in St Albans on Saturday night for the first time together, after my partner recommended it, and it certainly did not disappoint! We shared two starters, and both were absolutely gorgeous. I then had the fish cakes for my main, which I thoroughly enjoyed. We were both feeling full by dessert, but after spotting someone else’s and deciding it looked too tempting, we shared one, and we were so glad we did! The staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful and really knowledgeable when it came to recommending wines. Our waitress mentioned she had only been there a week, but you would never have known from how knowledgeable and attentive she was. The whole experience was fantastic. The food, service and atmosphere were all lovely, and we were pleasantly surprised by the bill. I expected it to be considerably more, so it was definitely great value for money. Even though we were almost the last people there before closing, we never felt rushed or pressured to leave. That really made the evening feel relaxed and special. We had such a lovely time and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

We are a family run, fully independent village pub located in Little Brickhill on the outskirts of Milton Keynes!We have a huge beer garden, complete with a newly installed children's play area, with plenty of space for children to run around during the summer months, as well as beautiful covered pergola area which has lights and heaters, where we offer table service, this area can also be hired for private functions. We have an large conservatory too which is ideal for parties, events or private dining. During the winter months we can offer a cosy environment by one of our many log burners and dogs are also very welcome in our bar area.Throughout the year we host live music nights, and celebrate many events including Burns Night, Valentine’s Day, Halloween to name a few, and of course we finish the year with a huge New Year’s Eve Party!

Had an amazing meal and night at The Hermitage Restaurant, an amazing chef takeover for fish night and the food was fab at always and the staff were amazing. Can highly recommend Chef takeover experiences!! Well done Hermitage Team!!!

Went for an early supper. Lovely to be seated on the balcony even though weather getting colder. Food was delicious , our guest said it was the best Spanish food she'd ever had.
