Best Restaurants for Handcrafted Cocktails in Hazel Park

The lobster bisque is one of the best in town. The lamb chop lollipops and crab cake sliders off the lounge menu are perfect. Always cooked to perfection and the sauce on the chops delightful. The popcorn in the bar keeps me coming back.

Our meal was wonderful and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. They went above and beyond when our evening was cut short (due to our own children being ill), to ensure my husbands birthday was celebrated. We highly recommend Bijou and we will definitely be back!

Our bartender, Jeff, was outstanding. Made the whole experience worth the drive across town.

It was a very quiet night at Javier’s Downtown when we went prior to a concert. The service was excellent. We have dietary restrictions that make eating out difficult but our server was great about checking with the chef about what would work for us. Our meal was delicious. We were there early and able to take advantage of the Happy Hour drink menu - a great value. I loved that we were able to have a leisurely meal but never felt ignored by our server. The vibe is very eclectic and fun - lots of lights, music playing in the background. They do include a 20% gratuity on the check, but our server pointed that out to us when he delivered our bill - and had it highlighted - so there was no missing that piece.

Everything was great, as usual! The new Chicken and Rissoto was delicious! Always feel welcome.
