Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Southampton, Hampshire

Lovely village pub. Very friendly staff, excellent service. There was a bit of a wait for our main meal but it was Father’s Day, lots of happy family’s there. The food was excellent. Car park with plenty of parking opposite the pub. We will definitely be going back and would recommend The Old Boot.

Nice dinning room. Not very crowded compared to other parts of the pub: casual sitting area and outside bar. Needed better ventilation as it was a warmish evening. Food was very good. Service was excellent

Exquisite food freshly prepared and personalised. Vegetarian and vegan options were offered according to our email request in advance. Attentive service in a classy atmosphere. In addition, the grounds are breathtaking.

Booked at last minute(45min notice) and requested a table seat if possible. When we arrived table was reserved and with a lovely waterside view. Service was friendly and efficient and menu was varied . Food arrived promptly and was hot and portions were good for money. Had a table check back to ensure everything was ok which was good . Would definitely return if in area.

Amazing experience - excellent food and service. Staff were brilliant, pleasant, friendly and so welcoming. Carey's Manor is beautiful, with excellent ambience and exquisite hotel grounds
