Took out my friend for a birthday celebration. We had a lovely evening. Our server Tia was impeccable, from giving excellent recommendations (especially the sake) , attentive service all evening, to adding to the warm and embracing ambiance. Everything was delicious but the truffle fried rice and the tonkatsu were the standouts. And the matcha tiramisu is the best we ever had with a beautiful presentation. And they had a personalized card and candle that added the perfect touch to end the evening on a high note! Highly recommend!

I had only been to Tower 12 before for a happy hour in the past so this was the first time I was there for a meal. I had the happy hour special tomato soup with grilled cheese and it was so good! In addition, I had the kale and rotisserie chicken salad, which was also phenomenal and my friend had a Caesar salad which she enjoyed.

Came here for a small birthday celebration. Great spot! Outstanding service. Everything we ordered was good, but the biscuits are a must-order. Also personally loved the tempura squash. Our server Amanda was attentive the whole evening and gave us great, thoughtful recommendations.

Hook & Plow Restaurant is one amazing place. It’s a comfortable spot with incredible food. Incredible. We had the brussel sprouts, clam chowder(out of this world good!), tempura fish tacos and arugula salad. Every bite was delicious! The waiter was so very friendly and thoughtful of any requests and even anticipated our needs. We were there for our anniversary and had visited the restaurant eight years earlier for our anniversary. The food is a delight and feast for the eyes and palate. We heartily recommend this amazing little place in Hermosa Beach and plan to return again when we’re in town!
