The stuff were very friendly and attentive and the venue itself is beautiful inside and out with its Christmas decorations outside Highly recommend for date night or a pre show meal with the girls and it’s situated a five minute walk from the playhouse theatre

A gorgeous little bistro that I’ve dined in twice the past few weeks as I've moved locally. Great menu with plenty of choice for small plates or mains. A nice cocktail menu that I intend to sample and a lovely atmosphere with candles and nooks. Waiting staff were delightful and couldn't be nicer. Looking forward to the next visit!

It’s always a bit more challenging to find a food place when it’s supposed to suit different demographics (in this case two middle-aged women and a primary school child). The Gruff Goat made us feel welcome, had an excellent food and wine menu and a no-nonsense kids plate. I had the Halloumi and Avocado Salad, which was excellent, and we were served by a very lovely and patient member of staff. Highly recommend.
