I’m not sure why it wasn’t more crowded. Everything was fantastic! This was my second visit. We had to repeat the blue crab pasta, unique and delicious! I had the scallops and my husband had the redfish. Both were excellent. Cheesecake for dessert. Really great! And live music added a nice touch.

Much to our dismay a reservation for an advertised buffet with carving stations /extensive salad bar /appetizers/sides/ desserts became an omelette bar with breakfast sides -which though good , was not what we expected ! apparently the advertised Xmas Buffet was from two years ago and we barely made the cut for the breakfast buffet ! our reservation was for 11 AM and the breakfast Buffet stopped serving at 11 AM. We were seated since we showed our confirmed reservation! Staff was confused n it took a bit to sort it all out. Never have had trouble with open table reservation before but this was a mess!!!

We are big fans of Sails. Have been coming here since they opened, it was our anniversary. The experience was amazing, hospitality at its best. We were welcomed outside, the hostess said “welcome we are expecting you happy anniversary “. We were showed to our table, greeted again and wished happy anniversary. Ibrahim (sic) was the ultimate server/host with complete command of the table, menu, à la carte or tasting menu. We had water immediately and the extra place settings were cleared. A pillow was brought for my wife’s back support and a small stool for her purse. As we were pondering how to start our night, Nenad, sommelier, brought some champagne to celebrate and start our dinner. We ordered the tasting menu with wine pairings. We asked if we could sub the crab for tuna tartare and without hesitation Ibrahim said “absolutely “. An eight course meal, every course was served and explained in a very professional manner. Nenad poured the pairings and explained every wine and why they paired with the food. From France to Italy to California, Nenad has a vast knowledge of wines, wine regions and tremendous expertise in pairings. The dinner ended with a Grand Marnier soufflé and sticky toffee. Paired with a muscat and a twenty year old Port. After the dinner, Ibrahim took us next door and showed us Omasava the omakase style restaurant. With a magnificent wine wall as a backdrop, you sit at a smooth wood counter and enjoy a true Japanese omakase experience. As far as price, was it expensive? I paid for the experience, and it didn’t disappoint. It was three hours where we felt catered and cared for as if we were the only people at the restaurant. I was worth every penny. We would like to congratulate the chef for an amazing menu and delicious courses. Again, hospitality at its finest.
