One of the most amazing culinary experiences I’ve ever had

Excellent food in quality, taste, and combinations. Service was beyond pleasurable, they even invited us to some champagne while we celebrated a special occasion. Would recommend to anyone visiting Napa.

My brother and I tried the oysters, smoked duck leg, in the trout. The oysters were nothing to write home about and the tonics available to put on the oysters was a little fun gimmick, but I personally think lemon is just the way to go to appreciate oyster. The entrées were really nice. The meat fell apart and was very tender. The flavors for the trout dish was very nice and provided a refreshing yet flavorful balance. We also ordered dessert. 50/50 crème and a Basque cheesecake. The crème was like a fancy pudding with a thin layer of cake. It had the perfect balance & richness of chocolate and complementing salted caramel. The basque cheesecake was my favorite. the strawberry purée provides a stark contrast to the richness of the cheesecake but it helped me enjoy the dish completely without becoming too overwhelmed.

It was a little bit smoky. But we enjoyed everything! Our server Esa (hope I spelled it right) was great!!! This is our NUMBER ONE RESTAURANT!

The food is always seasonal and fantastic here. We split the pork belly, polpette, and onion dip and chips small plates to start. The pork belly was excellent, a little sweet and a little salty, and the lamb polpettes were savory and delicious. I had the stone fruit salad as an entree, which was also very good, my husband loved his BLT. Service was excellent, and the mixed drinks were also very good — the non alcoholic drinks here are really good.
