Best Restaurants for Foodies in Parkton

Gertrude’s is a time honored institution and never disappoints. Its non-traditional location (at the Baltimore Museum of Art) means that it may not be top of mind for anyone thinking about a dinner spot in Baltimore. It’s actually quite close to Hampden and Roland Park, and accessible from the west as well as from the Inner Harbor. Our dinners featured summer specials (corn chowder, shrimp pasta and rockfish with crab imperial) and we enjoyed them all. The acompanying vegetables were perfectly cooked—a sign that someone in the kitchen is paying attention to details. At this time of year dining is available outside on the covered terrace as well as inside. Overall, a very nice experience.

What a fantastic meal! We met friends from PA before a concert and enjoyed a burger, crab cakes, rotisserie chicken and the delicious Bravo salad, all were so good! Then we ordered bread pudding and were served a piece that was tall it needed an elevator! Service was fantastic, great drink and wine list. We’ll be back!
