amazing experience. I was dining on my own for lunch, which I worried would be weird, But the staff made me feel special and I forgot I was dining solo. The food was excellent! Quite rich but I loved it. The sommelier made excellent alternative suggestions to my wine choices and allowed me to taste before choosing. The complementary glass of champagne at lunch was a nice touch. The main course Lamb was exquisite and the detail in the dish brilliant. I want to go again and can highly recommend this special experience. Thank you!

Enjoyed lunch/ visit to The Shard for my husband's birthday. (It was actually a Christmas present from our son and daughter in law). Lunch was delicious (definitely lived up to our expectations). We had the 3 course seasonal menu. Starters were wings (very moreish) and beer battered cod bites (batter was lovely and crispy) For our main we had the smashed burger and French fries ( delicious and very filling). After having a few minutes rest we managed to find room for the vanilla panna cotta with cherry compote and dark chocolate shavings. At the end there was even a happy birthday candle! We had a wonderful experience and would happily come back again. Thank you for an enjoyable meal. We would definitely recommend. The food was piping hot. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was relaxed.

Had breakfast, which was really good. Wide choice of food and drinks. The service was exceptional from the time we entered the building and particularly so at our table. We were given a window table which had the most exceptional view. Highly recommend going either for breakfast for dinner (which I enjoyed earlier in the year).

It's not often that the flavours and presentation of the food really makes us sit up and notice, but the dishes at El Alquimista certainly did! We took my parents out for my mother's birthday, not really knowing much about the restaurant and were made very welcome by the lovely, attentive (but not intrusive) staff throughout and the food was thoughtfully crafted and wonderfully presented. It's a small team and they clearly paid attention to the whole experience. It's not a cheap restaurant, but for high end dishes served, it's more than worth the price. Loved the home made bread selection!

My friend got sick so I went alone and it was still an amazing experience, staff took great care of me, gave me a nice table and I felt very accomodated. The food as always brilliant, I highly recommend it.

We had a great time in your restruant. We asked for a quiet corner & were given one. It was a group of old friends celebrating 50 years since we shared a flat together. Th estaff were friendly & courteous. They were happy for us to take time over the meal, so we made the most of the occasion.
