There are so many amazing places to eat in Mexico City. I was visiting for a week with a friend and we agreed to do one nice dinner and Esquina Comun is what we chose. It was amazing from start to finish and extra special that we were served and got to have a great conversation with the owner. The food was creative, beautiful, tasty, and representative of local flavour influenced by Carlos and Ana’s background as well as love for this craft. We especially loved that we could try the entire menu to share for two people.

What a wonderful meal and experience! The food was exceptional with our two favorite dishes being the plantain parcels and the short rib- absolutely delicious. The presentation and service is exceptional but not at all pretentious. Our server Ivan was attentive and kind and added to the wonderful lunch we had there. I cannot recommend this lovely delicious restaurant enough.
