    Terrific dining experience! The hostesses were accommodating with our request for something on the quiet side and close to the entrance (one of us has limited mobility). We opted to sit outside (quieter due to the very high ceilings indoors). The table was comfortable and shaded by large red umbrellas. Our server Yvette was great - very attentive and friendly. Everyone liked their meals. The calamari app is tempura-style and the accompanying grilled lemon is a nice touch. Their pizza dough is really good - and that's coming from a native New Yorker (Bronx). We all look forward to returning!

The food was cooked perfectly, the chef put on a great show, and the entire atmosphere made for a memorable night. A huge shoutout to our server, Rita! She was absolutely outstanding. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Even though the restaurant was busy, she never made us feel rushed and checked on us at just the right times. Her positive attitude and exceptional customer service truly elevated our entire dining experience. If you visit Benihana Newport Beach, definitely ask for Rita—you won’t be disappointed! She made our night extra special, and we’ll absolutely be back because of her. Thank you, Rita, for the incredible service!
