Our server, José was absolutely exceptional and went above and beyond to make our afternoon special. He was one of the best servers we have had in a very long time and we couldn’t appreciate the hospitality more!

Been here quite a bit of times now, and every time has been a pleasant experience. I went out to dinner with a close friend, and our server Konrad was friendly and helpful. We both split a Caesar salad, had the koji aged prime rib steaks, and split the au gratin potatoes. Everything was cooked to perfection. I genuinely love this place and highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for a great steakhouse. The price is worth the experience

This was my first visit to Hacienda Calavera in Schaumburg, and I brought some visitors for an early dinner. It turned out to be a great choice! I would describe it as Latin fusion rather than a traditional Mexican restaurant, and that came through clearly in the food. Everything was so delicious! The portions aren’t large, but the dishes are beautifully presented, and the flavors are even better. The drinks were just as delicious. The décor is beautiful and complements the creativity and presentation of the food. Since we went early, the atmosphere was quiet and relaxed, which made it a lovely setting to enjoy dinner and conversation with our visitors. Our waitress was wonderful and helped make the experience even more enjoyable. And if she happens to read this: I’m so sorry I accidentally took your pen! 😅 A wonderful first visit, with delicious food, great drinks, beautiful surroundings, and excellent service!

Food was excellent all the way around. Service was great as well. Looks like they are back to a high level of great dining!!
