The Caucus Club, located at the Congress Street level of the iconic Penobscot Building, is an historic, stylish supper club featuring two distinct dining spaces, an historic bar and live Jazz. The South entrance leads guests to the elegant dining room with the stage being the focal point. The North entrance leads to the dark and moody back room and bar with space for mingling, cocktails and dining. Adjacent to the bar entrance is the Caucus Club Kitchen, fully viewable from the hallway of the Penobscot building.The menu centers around the in-house dry-aging room, yielding Prime Steaks and Chops expertly butchered on site.     Absolutely perfectly prepared food, incredibly delicious with amazing presentation and prompt and professional service. Our server “J” was knowledgeable about all our Food options. His interactions with us were fun, interesting and made our time there extra special. The ambiance was unlike any other restaurant we have been to… a mixture of classic interior design with rich and subtle colors that celebrated today’s design styles while giving you glimpses of Detroit’s rich industrial history. A full dining room but no noise! Great live music! This is our number one go to for the ultimate in dining, entertainment and relaxation!
