Best Lunch Restaurants in Kirkby-in-Ashfield

I’d only been for breakfast before and found out how good the food and service was. So decided to take my wife and another couple for lunch. I’m really glad I did the food was amazing, they said it was a new menu it was really tasty and warm, we couldn’t it and the desserts were wonderful. The service and atmosphere was also excellent.

Booked this for a birthday treat for my mum, party of 6 - seated early, table with already reserved for us, we were waiting on 3 people to arrive so we ask the waitress to come back for drinks order. Once everyone arrived and was seated, waitress took drinks order. Then came back to take food order, she gave us recommendations on what was good and different options to order. All food was great and came fairly quickly. Overall for our first visit it was a great experience. We will definitely go back. May I add I ended up leaving my son’s birthday card on the table - but I went back over 30 mins later and luckily they had saved the saved the card. I’m so grateful for this as they made a 6 year old very happy.

Food was lovely. I didn’t get the name of our waiter but he was great, so polite and helpful!

Having never been before, we weren’t sure what to expect, but we were greeted warmly and seated well before our reservation. Lovely atmosphere and very good music. Lola was our waitress and she was very attentive and friendly. Now the food was absolutely amazing, delicious we had the biggest sharing platter you have ever seen lol . DW did our best and the brisket was to die for and definitely would recommend. We will definitely be back thank you

Didn't really need to reserve a table as there was plenty of room when we arrived, once seated the menu was extensive,the items we ordered were excellent and the service was very good, no complaints at all, would definitely dine here again. The atmosphere overall was pleasant enough and the noise level low,a lovely place for Sunday lunch 👍🤓
