Best Lunch Restaurants in Waltham Abbey

Amazing experience as per usual at Gables, been coming a few years now and cannot complain at all. Food is always great and ambiance is unmatched. Lovely friendly owners, couldn’t think of a better place to celebrate

We all opted for the two course set menu, which is great value. The MSC fish cake in spinach and caper sauce was excellent as always and one of our table had the Americana hamburger and cheese, which he rated highly. The summer pudding was much enjoyed, while the Witheridge in Hay organic cheese (a generous portion) was also a hit. The service was friendly and attentive. A very pleasant lunch altogether.

Attended on a Friday afternoon to celebrate our Anniversary. T he staff were super attentive without being overbearing. We had the lunch time menu which was extremely good value and very well presented. Meatball and Taramasalata for starters followed by a mixed kebab and lamb ribs - all of which were well cooked and very tasty. Extremely nice background music - at a level where you could have a conversation. Would definitely return and recommend due to the ambiance, food and lovely staff.

This is our favourite restaurant- it is like having dinner on holiday ; perfect !

We booked a table at KitchenE20 before a concert and decided to have the set menu. Great choice and value, amazing food. We sat inside, as it was hot outside and wanted the relief of the air conditioning!! Staff were really helpful too, will come back again. Thank you
