I was so impressed the dining area was lovely, the food was amazing and one of the best roasts I have had in a long while. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful venue on the river outside in the sun. Good menu. Prices from great to expensive but very well worth it. Loved our meal, staff lovely.

We dined on a hot Monday evening when the World Cup was on. Unsurprisingly very quiet and we were the only diners inside. However, the food was excellent and the service was equally as good. Always tried to please. Compliments to the Chef also! Not a vast menu which is a good sign as you can be assured it is all cooked freshly. Thank you

Wonderful landlady greeted our family and showed us our table. Quickly given main menu as an alternative to the set menu we’d booked with, then brought out bread and butter while we decided on food and drinks. A bit slow on taking drink orders for the whole table and then slow again with service between courses, however we were aware of them having short staff and they managed this brilliantly. Having been a last minute Mother's Day booking, we were all very impressed with the atmosphere as despite it being super Sunday and football being on all screens, it was fairly quiet and the main landlady/hostess was so friendly and attentive! The food was absolutely fantastic, everyone cleared their plates and thoroughly enjoyed the meal, plus it was all very reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning!
