Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Arundel, West Sussex

I arrived on my mobility scooter, fully expecting to have to park it inside the restaurant. Our came a ramp and I was taken to our table. My scooter was parked very close, out of the way and driving out was just as easy. Thank you.

We went for a belated mother's day afternoon tea, the food was so good! We couldn't finish the sweets that came out as there were 2 scones each, and 3 sweets each (creme caramel, chocolate pot - was so delicious and rich, and a lemon and poppy seed cake). The sandwiches were also so tasty, with a salmon and cream cheese choux bun, chicken and truffle cream brioche, and a egg and curried mayo sandwich. It was just all so flavourful, and rich. Would definitely return. We originally chose to sit outside, but due to the heatwave decided that inside in the cooler air was nicer, so couldn't see the castle so much past the awnings, but you can go outside to view it from that level. Service was also good, with an explanation of the dishes and friendly.

Excellent service, staff very welcoming and attentive, very good service, great decor, food was of the highest standard, Tiramisu was the best I have ever tasted. I would recommend this Restaurant to anybody in fact I gave your details to fellow Hotel guests this morning.

Stumbled upon reviews of this restaurant and thought we would give it a go as we are getting bored of our usual haunts. It’s a bit of an odd location, part of a small hotel with lots of vans outside and very little parking. However the food was excellent. I am guessing they are aiming for a Michelin rating and it was certainly on that level. We will definitely return.

Excellent meal - six fantastic courses and a wonderful range of flavours. Excellent and friendly service in a beautiful setting.
