My husband and I recently celebrated our wedding anniversary at Momento, and once again, the experience was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. Our table had been thoughtfully prepared with a beautiful anniversary message, setting the tone for a truly special evening. The maître d’ was gracious and attentive, guiding us through the wine selection, the menu, and every detail of our dinner with remarkable care. As someone with celiac disease, dining out can sometimes be challenging. I had contacted the restaurant in advance, and Chef Nicolas went above and beyond to ensure that my meal was thoughtfully prepared with careful attention to preventing gluten cross-contact. What impressed me most was the honesty and professionalism of the staff. When they explained that the escargot I had requested could not be prepared safely for me, they helped me find another wonderful option. My personalized appetizer was delightful, the fish was absolutely delicious, and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his T-bone steak. As a psychologist, I have always imagined a restaurant where dining becomes a personal experience, thoughtfully shaped around each guest’s needs, preferences, and individuality. Chef Nicolas and his team bring that vision beautifully to life. Momento has become part of our anniversary tradition, and my husband now considers it his favorite restaurant in Stroudsburg. We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Olivet! When we first checked in, we were waiting for our room to be ready, so we decided to sit at the bar. We were greeted by Becca, the bartender, who was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and had a genuine smile on her face the entire time. She made us feel right at home and served us amazing drinks and delicious food! We returned for dinner that evening and had another fantastic experience. The meal was excellent, and once again, Becca made us some amazing drinks! What really stood out was her warm personality, kindness, and outstanding service. She truly went above and beyond to make our experience special. It’s people like Becca who turn a great experience into a memorable one. She is definitely an asset to the hotel! We came for the $39 “Steak on the Lake” offer. We are from Florida and everything was amazing. The Pumpkin dessert shot was one of the best we have ever had. All of the staff were amazing. They gave us all the time in the world to eat. The decor was amazing and just felt so sophisticated yet Homie.

Overall the food was very good. We had the scallops and gnocchi as entrees. Both were tasty with nice presentation. The lobster bisque was good but overly salty. The mousse was excellent. Service was excellent and the staff friendly and accommodating. The ambiance was outstanding and what you'd expect from an upscale restaurant.
