Service was amazing; friendly, attentive servers. Unique dishes based on NOLA culinary influences. The special, lamb albondigas - soft, fluffy meatballs that were delicious. Charming setting in an old cotton mill. And, the chocolate dessert was out of this world. Strongly recommend to those who don’t want the usual NOLA food experience, but a creative interpretation.

Came back after 5 years and it hasn’t changed how it impressed me last time! Absolutely stunning and unique combination of ingredients and in the best possible way! Layers of flavors in every dish! Everything on the menu was impressive!

Saffron is always fantastic. Last night, the roasted oysters w/ parmesan and curry leaf, Bombay (fried) shrimp w/ tomato-ginger remoulade, and the Breads and Spreads (chicken pickle, eggplant dip and naan) started things off. Entree was the Nariyal Fish (grilled redfish served on a bed of curd rice over a green coconut korma - so perfectly cooked and a just right balance of flavors. Mr. and Mrs. Vilkhu and their staff go above and beyond to create a truly unique mixture of Creole and Indian food that you won't find anywhere else. Absolutely recommended.
