We’ve become creatures of habit, but the bruschetta makes a persuasive argument against personal growth: toasted Tuscan bread, tomatoes, basil, olive oil and garlic. Why tamper with that? He followed with the Rustica pasta, a hearty combination of Italian sausage, peppers, onions and marinara. I had the grouper special with Sicilianna sauce and sautéed spinach over Parmesan risotto, an excellent reason to venture beyond my usual order. A lovely Italian Sauvignon Blanc rounded out the evening. Dave Butts’ service was stellar as always, and James, the assistant general manager, added to the warm welcome. Ambrosia Hospitality Group understands that a favorite restaurant earns its place through both the food and the people. We dined in the crisp autumn air and enjoyed the outdoor patio and it was heated and a blanket provided at each table. We did not feel cold.
