Margarita’s was a pleasant surprise. Had not been there in years. Beautifully remodeled bar and dining area. Bright, modern and decorated with unique Mexican style art. I’m from Texas, so I eat a lot of Mexican food. Chips, salsa and guacamole are all freshly made. The tomatillo sauce is really good and has a nice smoky finish. I had the Carne Asada and it was very nice. Flavorful and served with flour tortillas, sour cream, salsa and guacamole. Beans and rice were just so-so. Patron margaritas are cold and tart. Overall, nice experience.

The visit for my wife and me was our first, but we concluded at the end of the meal that it will NOT be our last. Table service was attentive, but not intrusive. Food was extremely pleasant on the taste buds, stimulating just the right sensations, accentuating a taste of freshness in the ingredients. We have already decided we will revisit soon, as we regularly host our friends to places worthy of our calories. UMM more than qualifies for such a place.

The food is very delicious- must eat include nasi ulam, classic popiah, i also enjoyed the buah keluak pork jowl, jantung pisang, and bakwan kepeting with abalone. We had cempedak creme brulee and pandan panna cotta. Both desserts were complimentary - creme brulee was foc because we ordered two soups. I was pleasantly surprised that the panna cotta was complimentary - we celebrated my friend’s birthday. Service was impeccable. Would definitely revisit.

I have gone there a number of times. Phillipe, the man in-charge, always makes us laugh. Pity he does not work on Sundays when I go most. Food is really good. Wine selection decent but could do with more beers. Love the 'old-school' ambience.

Club Street Laundry is the kind of place you come for dinner and end up staying the whole evening. The food was excellent, with dishes we were still talking about the next day. Service was warm and attentive, and the team had a great feel for when to check in and when to let us enjoy ourselves. What really stood out was how well everything came together. A buzzing room, a team that clearly cares and a meal that felt worth every dollar. We went as a group and everyone left saying we needed to come back. A brilliant spot on Club Street.
