We really enjoyed our lunch at Forest. Lovely staff, good food and excellent all round. For such a centrally-placed restaurant, they managed what must have been the busiest Saturday lunchtime with great aplomb. Every course was stylishly presented as well as being delicious. We would definitely recommend and we will be back!

Ate here 3 times during our stay at Kip and Nook. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. I’d also recommend the pizzas and burgers - very nice. Staff are really nice, helpful and attentive. The overall vibe of the place is wonderful, it has a very homely and welcoming feel, caters for all ages and welcomes dogs which is always a bonus. Kip and Nook is a superb facility, very well thought out - looking forward to our next stay.

Party of 4, we had a great evening. The food was excellent, and the Vegan options were top notch! Waiting staff were welcoming & attentive. Would highly recommend, and will certainly return.

Excellent little find! I’d booked as we wanted to eat pre theatre. We were running late and then short of time but we were served and food came really quickly. Food was delicious, service was great, just one young lady on bar and serving food too. She was bright and cheery and super efficient. Absolutely 5* we will definitely call in again when visiting York
