Family meal out with the kids on our half term weekend away in York. Absolutely fantastic experience. Great food and exceptional service, from all the staff especially Verity our waitress. The meat just kept coming very generous with portions and it was a whole range of cuts and types. Unlike some Rodizio which keep bringing round the sausage and not the steak, that was not the case here. My son rated it 1000 out of 100 ! Well done team and thanks for a brilliant night.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Delicious food in an atmospheric pub. Just lovely. We left with a feeling we had been very well looked after.

Was recommended by the local hotelier and didn't disappoint. The staff were warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. There was no waiting time for our food. The food itself was amazing and would recommend the mini grill. Overall we had an awesome experience on our anniversary.

Where do I start? My wife and I arrived in York earlier than expected, so we decided to see if we could get our table early, we were greeted by Richmond who gave us a warm welcome and said he would be happy to accommodate us which, was wonderful. The ambiance of the restaurant was charming with a lovely Moroccan feel to the decor, we were seated and Richmond brought menus and water to the table. My wife happened to mention it was my birthday and Richmond brought me a mocktail on the house which was very much appreciated. I had the vegetable tagine and my wife had the chicken tagine both were brought out piping hot along with a basket of bread each. The food was absolutely delicious, very well spiced without being over the top. This was our first outing to a Moroccan restaurant so we were very impressed. After the main meal Richmond very kindly gifted me a dessert and another drink for myself and my wife. All in all this was a brilliant experience and Richmond is a credit to the establishment, we would not hesitate to return and would very happily recommend.
