Best Authentic Restaurants in Hewlett

Da Nicola is like an Oasis in the desert. In Hewlett, there are few restaurants to dine in. The food is always good, prices moderate, service efficient and congenial. Noise level is sometimes deafening. Last night, we sat in the back room, we were able to converse during dinner.

Great food. The steak tacos is the best. Guacamole is great. Its 20$ but the serving size is huge compared to other restaurants. Very fresh. Juan and Jose are awesome. Went there for restaurant week. Im glad I did. Will be back for more tacos and fajitas.

We enjoyed our dinner at Yalos last night and will definitely return! We loved the illuminated menus and the decor. Highlights from the menu include the Baklava Old Fashioned, Traditional Greek Salad, Skordalia, Fried Calamari, Lamb Chops, Lavraki (fish), Broccolini and the Baklava Cheesecake! The Skordalia and Calamari were the best I have ever had! Hats off to the Chef!

I had an excellent dinner at Mesita Gustavo was my waiter a few times. He is excellent and really shows that he cares and tries to make the dinner an amazing experience and goes out of his way the food was fantastic as well as the service. The ambience is very cool, relaxed,

The food is delicious and well presented. The service is attentive but not rushed. Our “go to” for a special night out.
