- ESElizabethSNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined on Aug 14, 2026I'm from New York City, surrounded by incredible restaurants — and the chef's tasting at Casa Gangotena still took our breath away. The seafood was the freshest I've had in a long time, and the duck was cooked perfectly — the kind of dish that stops the table conversation. Our waiter Mateo matched that level completely: knowledgeable, warm, and clearly proud of the food he was serving. Service like his is rare, and Casa Gangotena is lucky to have him.More infoRestaurante Casa Gangotena$$$$• Ecuadorian• Quito•4.8
