The food is delicious and the service is friendly and welcoming you to practice your German or to speak English. It was lovely to get to try regional cuisine; we specifically wanted to try sauerbraten, which my partner enjoyed. It was vinegary and salty, and served with a nice applesauce that complimented the dish. I got the haxenpfännchen which was a savory hash of pork knuckle (if you've never had it, it's mostly meat and the skin is crackled). Quite delicious and comes with over a pound of meat and seems like over a pound of potatoes, so come hungry!

great place for dinner with friends. location is awesome. I recommend sitting by the windows. you can order at the table and it’s all cashless. they brought everything super quick. I loved the burger, the corn ribs and the drinks! at Hulala you feel the love for details: reusable coasters for the drinks, that little wooden palm tree in the burger. everywhere you look there are small deco spots like skateboards, plants, flowers. the crew was nice and we had a little small talk with Nico. cool guy! :)
