Best Authentic Restaurants in Chappaqua

Another excellent meal. Our party of three had a variety of appetizers and salads to start our meal. Two people had the salmon and one had the pasta special. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The salmon was fresh and was a nice-sized piece. The pasta was fresh pasta and was prepared al dente. We shared a dessert - which was also delicious. We enjoy this restaurant and will be back again.

I can’t believe I didn’t discover Mentor’s sooner! This place is an absolute must-visit in Westchester. Everything was spectacular, from the food to the overall experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience. I’ll definitely be back!

As always, excellent, attentive, seamless service. The staff is incredible. The food is absolutely delicious and fresh daily made pasta and even the gluten free pasta is amazing! The atmosphere is very cozy and warm and it’s now become one of my favorites.

This casual restaurant has been a local jewel for many years. The ambiance is warm and friendly with regulars enjoying excellent and creative cooking and wonderfully curated wine list with reasonable prices and generous helpings. The owner and executive chef Dave Dubarry is a Dobbs Ferry icon. If you haven’t tried Dave’s pork ossobuco, or pasta with ragu you are missing a truly stunning gastronomical experience. We drove up from Manhattan (45 minutes) for an early dinner and were blown away by the food. The 4 course special fixed dinner was $40 pp with an amazing $40 bottle of Syrah from Cortona Italy. I don’t want to create an unreasonable expectation, but, if you have the opportunity to eat here, just don’t miss it.
