Sri Lankan

Canary Wharf

About the restaurant

In Sinhala – one of Sri Lanka’s native languages – “Isso” means prawn, and it sits at the very
heart of everything we do. At Prawn Crazy, we wear this name with pride. It’s our promise to
serve only the freshest, highest-quality prawn dishes that bring the true flavours of Sri Lanka
straight to your plate – right here in London.

Every dish at Prawn Crazy starts with something special — king prawns sourced from the pristine northern waters of Sri Lanka, bold island chillies, and the warmth of spices passed down through generations.

We take familiar flavours and turn them into something extraordinary. Fresh, sustainably sourced seafood meets the vibrant heat of authentic Sri Lankan cuisine – creating dishes that are bold, unexpected, and utterly moreish.

Whether you’re a seasoned fan of South Asian food or trying Sri Lankan cuisine for the first time, we’re here to feed you, surprise you, and leave you craving your next visit.

Ayubowan – welcome, and bon appétit

A lovely quirky bar ! We sat inside as we were not sure what the weather would be like when I booked. The staff were welcoming, attentive and friendly. The vibe was cosy and chilled and we could easily have spent more time there but we had places to be. Outside seating is perfect for watching the world go by.. Would definitely recommend.

I had an amazing experience at the pizza-making class, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The nibbles before class were delectable, and the chef was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. Was very fulfilling to enjoy something I had made can’t wait to put what I learned to practice.

International

Canary Wharf

About the restaurant

Blacklock a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Nestled cosily in the corner of Canary Wharf, underneath the train tracks of the North Dock. Feel the comforting rumble of trains passing overhead conjuring memories of some of our favourite haunts underneath the bridges in NYC. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Sunday Roast (almost as good as Mum's). Bookings and Walk-Ins available.

Canary Wharf

About the restaurant

Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there). There's also a private dining room for up to 20 people named after the local legend Queenie Watts, a singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady (think Peggy Mitchell meets Joni Mitchell). The menu revolves around the best British produce the country has to offer with grass-fed dry-aged ethically reared beef, sustainable seafood from the South coast and some of the biggest hits from the Hawksmoor New York menu.
