Considering it’s a brand new establishment, the staff worked very efficiently side by side. Rey, our server, took care of us diligently and professionally. He was gracious to recommend dishes based on portion sizes and our food preferences. Upon being out of the wine we wanted, one of the Captains suggested a bottle that paired perfectly with our meal from starters to dessert. Overall, better than expected experience. Burrata salad and eggplant to begin with, Lomo Bajo steak with a side of asparagus and Caos 70 (70% cocoa, olive oil and a pinch of salt) make us want to go back in the near future and experience the rest of the menu. They’ve set the bar high enough, don’t settle for less!

I recently dined at this restaurant and the service was amazing from the time I checked in with the hostess to the time staff walked me out assisting with directions for transportation. The food was very well prepared, presented and tasted very good. Staff were always attentive and friendly throughout our visit. While not on their drink menu, the old fashion they prepared was great. The steak I ordered was well cooked and tasted good. I also ordered the gratin potatoes and spinach sides which were also very tasty. Overall, this is a great place to dine at. The only thing I was not a huge fan of was the loud music. The patio seating area was not available as it began raining, but it also provides a great view to the Angel of Independence. Aside from that, I’d go back anytime while in Mexico City!

This was a wonderful experience! I was a solo diner for lunch and had a great time. Wonderful food and cocktails. Gaba is my new favorite spot in CDMX.

Absolutely amazing experience. I had the mozzarella gnocchi and my partner had the shrimp fettuccine. The portions were substantial and the taste was superb. Our waiter (wore glasses) was extremely helpful, attentive and accommodating. I spoke with Claudio (not sure if manager or owner) and shared our experience with Anjmal and Maximo. Zimo is by far the better choice for both food and value. Would highly recommend!

Great place and highly recommended, mainly because the food is very well executed. Congrats to the chef. Note, however, that they sell themselves as "not a restaurant" but a "laboratory" which maybe gives them the opportunity to compromise on service ("we don't have more than 3 printed menus...") or comfort (high chairs and on the street, if you chose not to sit in what appears to be just one table inside, at their kitchen. So, highly recommended if you are looking for a great meal but not so much if you are looking for a comfortable experience with friends.
