A glorious hot day in Harrogate, a friend had recommended eating at The pickled Sprout , I booked a table on the balcony overlooking the park. A very small balcony with just enough room for 4 bistro tables. Table service was offered as it wasn’t too busy. We ordered at the bar and payment was taken . We shared the bread and olive platter as a starter. The best focaccia I’ve ever tasted . Not many olives, but enough. Delicious dip! I had the filet steak which melted in my mouth. Tasty peppercorn sauce lifted it to another level. And how do they make chips taste amazing? My son ordered the sea bass with tagliatelle and he loved it. Generous portions and cooked beautifully. Delicious wine and fairly priced. Service was smooth and we watched the sun go down as we ate. Very enjoyable evening. Would highly recommend.

Excellent venue. Arrived early for our booking and the serving staff sorted a table for us. Food was fab, even our confirmed carnivore was pleasantly surprised with both the presentation and taste of the food. Decor was great too. Big thumbs up. 10/10

Booked as part of a work's evening Christmas get together. Can't fault the service food or value for money. Excellent, 5 star.
