We had an excellent meal. The pizza was delicious and the burrata was exceptional. The bartender was so nice and well informed and accommodating. We will come back again and again.
Todd, Ellen & their team continue to roll out the classics: risotto fritters, artichokes, as well as sharing new, local, organic delights! If you were a fan of the original spot on CT near the WH, you'll find the ambience here WAY more easy-going & approachable. Easy location. This continues to be my FAV restaurant in DC.
This was a great place for a quick supper after an early evening concert at An die Musik, just around the block. The food was quite good, the menu was modest but very well balanced (options in all the categories), and the service was excellent. The salads in particular offer an excellent value, and there are quite a few seafood offerings. Definitely planning a return visit.
We ate outside which is why I said the noise level was quiet. I suspect that inside is not so quiet. The food was very good overall and the service was attentive.
Mita is a once in a lifetime experience. The respect to culture and history is incomparable. The delicacy of the food and the attention to detail was phenomenal. It felt like we were being transported to a different time and place. Every bite and attention to hospitality and description was impeccable.
