Best Turkish Restaurants in NoMad

Over the years, whenever my husband, son and I have plans to go to concert or a play, we always make AnTalia our first stop. We have probably eaten there at least seven or eight times and while it has always been good, last night it was better than ever. The staff always make you feel welcome and never rushed. The food was amazing - best branzino I’ve had. All the other diners at the restaurant looked to be enjoying their food - in fact, the table next to us leaned over to ask what we were eating because it all looked so good. We will certainly be eating there again.

Food has been consistently outstanding for about 20 years. It has become one of my very favorite restaurants in NYC! In addition, service is impeccable. Can’t go there often enough. Recommend it extremely highly!!!!

Everything was fabulous. The second we walked through the door. We were greeted by a host and the owner. They offered us seating according to our preference. The food has a clean Mediterranean flair. The lamb chops were spectacular and so were grilled the octopus with the fennel salad. If you’re looking for a vibe to get dressed up, this is the spot! They had a live DJ set as well. A violinist was performing around the tables which brought a nice touch to the entertainment. It was classy and not obnoxious or in your face. The decor and ambience is very modern, sexy and clean. We will definitely be back!

I’m a local and Sahara is always excellent even with out of state guests like yesterday.
