Best Traditional Mexican Restaurants in Preston Hollow

Our experience was very good overall. The service was thorough and attentive, though it did slow down noticeably after our initial order was taken. We found ourselves waiting longer than expected between requests, check-ins, and receiving the bill. That said, the food more than made up for it. The portions were generous, the quality was excellent, and we had plenty left over for the next day. We especially appreciated the care the staff took in boxing up our leftovers, even though it understandably added a little extra time to the experience. The enclosed patio is fantastic and remains one of our favorite places to dine. This is easily our favorite Tex-Mex, Mexican, and New Mexican restaurant in the DFW area. And one more thing: they have the best chips and salsa in town. Seriously!

Loved it! Lively music, great Mexican tastes, and a great dessert.

This was our second time visiting, and our first experience was wonderful. It was less crowded, and the service was very quick. This time around, the restaurant was full, and unfortunately, it took about 30 minutes before our server came by to ask if we had been helped. We even had to flag down the busser to get some water. I still gave the business five stars because our server was genuinely apologetic and did the best she could while managing a large number of tables. The show was excellent, the food was delicious, and the ambiance was just right. Hopefully, on our next visit, there will be enough staff to help reduce the wait times. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and would definitely come back!
