Extraordinary! This is by far the best restaurant in Sayulita! My husband is half Japanese and it’s very difficult to impress him and he was impressed! The food quality, creativity, presentation, chef’s knowledge and service rivals some of the best Onakase in the states. Highly highly recommend!

Once again, amazing dinner experience with the family. Our favorite sushi in Mexico! We had the Cho and O toro, Wagyu table seared and our other favorite dishes. If you are craving sushi while you’re in Vallarta, this place is it! You won’t be disappointed.

Mikoh absolutely lived up to the hype and then some! We had heard from others that this was a must-visit spot in Bucerias, and now we completely understand why. We started with the fresh crispy spring rolls, which were simply delicious and a perfect way to kick off the meal. For our mains, one of us had the Kung Pao Chicken, which was absolutely to die for, and I went with the Fried Rice with Chicken & Beef. They offer the option to mix in shrimp, but I kept it classic with chicken and beef only and it was scrumptious! Beyond the incredible food, the atmosphere inside is really welcoming. The décor and overall vibe are great, and the air conditioning made for a wonderfully cool and comfortable dining experience. Mikoh has officially earned a permanent spot on our regular dining rotation here in Bucerias. Highly recommend to anyone visiting or living in the area! Don't wait as long as we did to try it! 5 stars!

Small restaurant hidden between a Waffle house & a hotel on the highway. Service was excellent & food was very authentic Japanese. Some of the best sashimi & rolls we have ever had. Will definitely return. Drinks were also well crafted.

Very authentic japanese dining. I came here with my fiancé for our anniversary. We came in later in the night expecting to be treated fair or rushed out, but they were so professional and patient with us. They showed us that our anniversary mattered to them as it did for us. Which is very rare especially as i’ve had terrible experiences going out to eat. I work in a Japanese restaurant myself, so I can especially appreciate the effort they put into it. We were gifted lovely otoshi at the beginning of our meal from the chef. The drinks were very light and delicious, they’ve clearly put a great deal of effort into them. We loved the gyoza, the hamachi tostadas, and our sushi rolls. Very high quality fish… We got a beautiful display of fire for one of our rolls which was a very nice touch. With the dessert, they were so kind to bring us some cheesecake with our black sesame ice cream. Even when they’ve been plenty generous and hospitable. When we got our bill, we were gifted sake & cream shots to end our meal with. I highly encourage for anyone to come if they want not only excellent quality, service, and atmosphere. But, an excellent experience with Japanese food and hospitality.

We live here but had never been here... it is our new favorite place so we will be going once a month. Jorge was fantastic fun and we look forward to returning soon. There were tables full of smaller children and families and they were having a ball.. great evening.
